IntraGIS Systems has specialised in the development of end-user GIS applications for many years. Ease of use has always been our first consideration and the result is a range of simple-to-use GIS packages that are quick to learn and easy to use.

IntraGIS Systems was formed specifically for the development and sale of easy-to-use, affordable, desktop GIS viewing systems. The company grew from GeoSys GIS Consultants Systems Pty Ltd - a highly respected Australian GIS consultancy company.

The founder, Val Macduff, has over 30 years experience in the computing industry with more than 15 years of specialisation in GIS. She was GIS technical manager for the UK distributors of ARC/INFO for several years before moving to Australia in 1989. She has been instrumental in the development of bespoke systems including a highly regarded ARC/INFO based system in use at several Government Departments across Australia. Val worked as a lead programmer for the ESRI head office in California and for ESRI Australia in Perth before setting up GeoSys GIS Consultants and later IntraGIS Systems. Her extensive experience in the development of end-user GIS applications has rendered her uniquely well qualified for the design of IntraGIS products.
